Love & Relationship Journal
Our Love & Relationship Journal is designed to help you reach a deep state of consciousness by understanding your love life, starting with the past. You’ll be encouraged to mindfully put into practice what you’re learning, so you can create a stable and conscious love life in the present and future.
Love is present in our lives from the time we are born, and from childhood to adulthood, we see it transforming and changing shape. We tend to believe that love begins and ends with a relationship. We idealize love, and this is especially true for romantic love. In reality, love is a constant flow. It’s in everything we do. First, we need to understand what love means to us. Then, we need to understand why we love and are being loved in a certain way. And ultimately, we can put this understanding in practice in the present, in order to develop solid tools for the future.
Finding love and managing love relationships is hard work. Most of us grew up watching Walt Disney cartoons, where the Princess meets her Prince Charming, and love is all that matters. In real life, love is not enough. To make a love relationship work, we must acknowledge ourselves deeply, understand what we want and need, and know what we can give. And we need to be aware of our own patterns when it comes to settling down with someone or meeting a potential partner.
Why do you need this journal? To understand yourself in order to find love? To remedy patterns in relationships or how you approach your partners? Or do you want to get to know your partner on a deeper level?
If it’s for understanding your patterns, you’re on the right track. The ways in which we perceive love and love others is complex—and it starts with ourselves. It begins with a journey of self-worth and self-awareness.
If you are already in a relationship and you feel the need to dig into it, then communication is key. A fundamental point that we need to remind ourselves over and over again, is that a relationship is made of two individuals. Both partners come with their individual baggage, expectations, dreams, and visions. The beauty is that it’s possible to work together to merge them into one, long-lasting entity.
